By 2030, 300 million families will need a place to live in. Kubik is doing something about it by taking plastic waste and turning it into low-carbon, high-quality affordable buildings in the places that need it most. But their mission isn’t about housing, it’s about dignity. Dignity, to CEO Kidus Asfaw, means clean and affordable living for all. Inspired by his childhood in Ethiopia, Kidus is committed to reaching that goal. Starting in his hometown of Addis Ababa, Kidus and his team have built an impressive model that is as incentivizing for building developers as it is good for the environment. From schools to housing to commercial spaces, Kubik is changing the way our buildings impact our planet.
